Domes And Cones

3 vs 3 game in an area the same size as a badminton court. An equal amount of cones to be placed in the area. 1 team has to go around and turn cones to domes and the other team does the opposite.

Instructions

3 vs 3 game in an area the same size as a badminton court. An equal amount of cones to be placed in the area. 1 team has to go around and turn cones to domes and the other team does the opposite. When a cone is turned to a dome that person shouts DOME! and vice versa.

These should be basic plastic cones used all over the place for different sports. To describe the cone, think of an ice cream cone, to describe the dome, think of the millennium dome.

At the end of the time allocated, the team with the most cones or domes wins.

Tips

If a person doesn’t shout dome or cone, make that persons whole team stay still for 5 seconds while the other team keeps moving around turning cones over.

This drill, like any other drill, should not be done for more than 7 minutes without changing the drill a bit.

I would recommend 2-3 minutes for 1 game without changing.

Skills

Communication, chair movement, chair control, reaching to the sides (helps to pick a ball up).
