Carolina Drill

This drill is helpful on your lay-ups and your timing. This includes your two foot stop, right and left hand lay-ups, and most of all timing.

Instructions

Get a line of your players under the hoop on the left and right side facing the other hoop. Give the ball to the person on the left side. Blow a whistle to Q the players to run towards the hoop. The person on the left w/ the ball should dribble all the way to the free-throw line which is when that person does a two foot stop passing the ball to the person on the right just as they are passing the free throw heading to the hoop. The person on the right should get the ball just in time for the lay-up. The person who passed the ball gets the rebound and runs down the other way again to repeat the drill. After that, they The people switch lines.
