Three team Press & Defense

A small scrimage, but effective for improving skills.

Instructions

Make three teams of 5. One team (skins) sets up by a basket, while one team (blue) has the ball at the opposite basket. The last team (white) presses blue, while blue throws it in at baseline and tries to get to the other basket. Once blue has passed half court, white stays back and becomes defense on skins when they get the rebound and come down court on offense. Blue then sets up the offense and skins are playing defense on them. If blue scores, white takes it up the court on offense. If, blue misses or turns the ball over, and skins recovers, then blue presses skins until half court and then white plays defense.

Tips

Run this every other practice.
