First, set up 3 cones on both of the elbows, and 1 in the middle of the lane. Start on the right/left baseline and dribble to the first cone then do a crossover or a spin move, then go to the center cone, and do the same, as for the other cone on the elbow. Then drive hard to the basket, and do a lay-up (you could do a jumpshot also). Do this drill 10 times with right and left handed lay-up and you’ll improve, in not only lay-ups, but in stamina, and conditioning

It can go with out saying that whatever your sport, improved reaction time and response time a.k.a. reflex speed will be vital. Any and even the slightest improvements in this skill can have astonishing results on your game. Think about it for a moment… even if you could shoot, move, and jump like MJ you’d still be at his mercy if you didn’t have his eyes. Meaning react unexpectedly, see defenders before they move, and beat the head fakes.
