Steve Nash 20 Minute Real Time Workout

This drill is run by Steve Nash:

  • 50 Shots Working Outwards on the sides (close and working outwards).
  • 10 Bank Shots (5 per side).
  • 10 Elbow Shots (5 per side).
  • 20 Spins (5 right side spinning right, 5 right side spinning left, 5 left side spinning left, 5 left side spinning right).
  • 20 Stepbacks (10 per foot).
  • 10 Hesitate and Pulls.
  • 10 Top of Key (Top of key 1 dribble right to right elbow repeat 5 times, top of key 1 dribble left to left elbow repeat 5 times).
  • 20 Turnarounds.

A good drill to help you with your shooting.

Start out at the free throw line. Shoot the ball, whether you make it or miss it, let it bounce 3 times then shoot from that spot 3 times. For every time you miss, you must do 1 suicide.

Shoot until you miss

The whole point of this drill is to beat yourself. First shoot jumpers from anywhere. Keep on shooting until you miss. Then count how many you made straight. Now this is what you will try to beat. Just keep doing it until you want to stop or until you beat your own number.
