A simple drill to help put rotation on the ball and to increase your shot strength.
Start out about an inch in front of the hoop, take the ball and balance it in your shooting hand. Shoot the ball as if it was a normal shot (just with one hand). After you make about 5-10 shots take a step back and repeat until you are shooting one handed free-throws at the foul line.
If you cannot shoot the one handed free throws at least try to hit the rim and over time you will eventually be able to do it.
Try to use this as a warm up drill it will help to straighten your shot.
