This practice can let you form a perfect jump shot and let your shooting percentage increase significantly.
First start off completely still and close to the basket. Keep your right elbow tucked in and at a right angle under the ball. (Left handers to the opposite). Then, keep your left hand on the side of the ball to support it. Now, jump up straight in the air. At the highest point of your leap release the ball, extending your right hand to shoot. Hold your follow through.
