Four Corners drill

Set up with 3 players in each of the four-corners of the half court area. The first player in the bottom corner has the ball and he/she passes to the first person in the next corner and receives the return pass the person that passed the second pass cuts into the lane for the pass from the person in corner three. Each person makes two passes and goes to the end of the next line with the person in the last corner taking the lay-up.

Instructions

The ball must never touch the floor the team would be expected to at least get 50 right hand lay-ups in a row without a miss. Make at least 50 left hand in a row.

Variations

  • Play defense against the cutters as the player master the drill it will make it harder for them to make the basket and also heighten their level of awareness.

Tips

  • Keep the drill as up tempo as possible make the team reach there target and better it each week it gives them a sense of achievement and also something to aim for come down on them very hard if they don’t reach there target each week.
