The seven footer

Teaches shorter teams and players more efficient screening and passing techniques

Instructions

Put defense in defensive set (preferably zone). Have defense use badminton rackets as extension of their reach. This will force offense to be more efficient in screening and passing.

Variations

  • Use any type of paddle, racket, or hand extension to give offense practice against ‘taller’ and quicker opponents

Tips

  • Don’t have defense swing rackets
  • Just extend them into passing lanes
  • Don’t want anyone to get hurt!
