A drill that really helps speed and jumping.
Start at the foul line and run to the basket and jump as high as you can, and touch the backboard. Then backpedal to the foul line, and run and touch the backboard again and so on. Do this drill for one to two minutes. JUMP WITH BOTH HANDS UP. If you cannot reach the backboard touch as high as you can on the net.
Jump with both hands up. Try to go higher each time it helps.
