Open Up/Turn and Shoot Drill

Easy shots for really big guys that can shoot fairly well(at mid to short range.

Instructions

You post up on the left side of the basket dribbling with your right hand, your left shoulder and left foot are facing the basket and your back is parallel to the baseline. Pivot to face the basket (slightly away) with your right foot with your elbows stuck out as you turn and do this as fast as you can. Then take a jumper immediately. Do this on the other side with opposite hand, pivot etc.

Variations

You could pivot with other foot and immediately lay in in pivoting the other way.

Tips

Keep ball at head level and extend your elbows wide.
