The pullback crossover

A crossover that’s like a stutter step and backs the defender off of you so that you can drive or shoot.

Instructions

Start with the ball in your left or right hand. We’ll just say the left hand for now. Then drive hard to the left side and put your right leg out in between the ball and the defender and crossover to your right side. If it works, then the defender should get faked out of his shoes. If you are quick enough when you perform this move then the defender might slip and fall to the ground and you will be able to drive in

Variations

If it doesn’t work then you can add a head fake like you are going to shoot and cross back over to the left.

Tips

Keep workin’ on it until you are confident enough to do it in a real game.

Skills

It loses the defender so you can drive in for a lay-up or a dunk.
