The mirage

The drill requires two balls.
Bounce around the center circle or either of the free throw circles with two balls for thirty seconds as fast as you can, look up stay low, do not worry about speed at first, get the technique and rhythm first and speed will come along as you practice.

Instructions

Make sure eyes are up and looking at something definite, for example looking at a coaches finger or the rim.

Variations

To vary the drill you change directions in which you were circling. For example, if you were dribbling around the circle in a clockwise motion you can switch to counter-clockwise.

Tips

To make it easier before you start the drill, first bounce both balls simultaneously, and then alternate.

Skills

Ballhandling, weak hand dribbling, coordination, speed and vision.
