Probably the most basic of basketball skills, but sometimes the most neglected. These drills will show you how to develop ballhandling skills. Remember that weak hand!

Tennisball Ballhandling

Steve Nash used to do this, so it works if you keep doing it.
Grab 2 tennisballs. If you are outside or just walking around anywhere where you are capable of dribbling a ball, alternate dribbling hands with both of the tennisballs. If you do this for hours a day, you will have mad ballhandling skills.

The pullback crossover

A crossover that’s like a stutter step and backs the defender off of you so that you can drive or shoot.

Stand up against a wall and dribble very fast against the wall. It will develop your ball handling.

You run down court and when approachind a defender, you use your good hand and spin around keeping the ball in front of you dribbling once while turnind.
