More drills and a couple of videos

13/12 2007, 0 comments

Here are your new drills for today:

Also, since I’ve missed my updates the last couple of days, I’m throwing in a couple of videos to make up for it.

First, here is a video of a cool trampoline dunk followed by an incomprehensible interview with Darius Miles.

And to close things off, here is someones own version of the Courtside Countdown.

Day three, more drills

Enjoy!

This is nice

After a few days it feels really nice to see that everything is running smoothly, noone has protested the new design or functionality, and I’ve even gotten a few comments.

I have a backlog of basketball drills that you guys have submitted, but that have never made it onto the site. I’m going to keep adding ten or so every day until I’m done. Here are todays new drills:

Remember that you are more than welcome to submit your own drill, or leave a comment on any of the drills. The idea was that by allowing comments, players and coaches can comment and make suggestions about each drill so that it becomes even better.

Welcome to the new basketball pages!

Wow, this has been a long time coming! I’ll tell you all about how long this has taken, my plans for the site, and everything else you want to know a bit later. For now, I’d like to invite you to browse through the updated site, and let me know what you think.

These are some of the highlights:

  • New design. Finally…
  • Better navigation of the drills.
  • A blog. Welcome to 2007!
  • Comments on the drills (end the blog).

But most importantly, the site has been built on a robust and flexible content management system — ExpressionEngine — which will let me continue to develop the site much easier than before.

I hope you like it, and that you’ll take part in the discussion on the blog and on the drills.

As I said, more great stuff (and details) will follow. For now, here is some inspiration for all you hard workers out there:

And since this is my first post to the basketball blog, here is another video:
